Awkward Education offers a wide selection of workshops for schools, colleges, universities and youth groups.

Our aim is to offer the chance to develop the skills of young people of all ages, using various modes of devising strategies through new and challenging techniques, to create high quality, inventive new work.

Awkward Education is personally dedicated to engaging and motivating young people, to create work that is appealing and provocative, probing the limitations of live visual media and the modern stage.

We believe in Open-Page thinking - approaching a project with the freshness of a beginner, while offering the guidance based on our own artistic experiences.

How to book:

Awkward City offer workshops for any audience from small institutions to schools, colleges and universities to much larger venues. For sessions in schools, particular attention is paid to the National Curriculum.  All artists are fully CRB checked.

All of our workshops can be tailored around every ability and age.
